The Ugly Politics

The whole world witnessed the parliamentary proceedings and the ugly scenes of MP s horse –trading when the congress government tested its majority. It was disheartening to see the MP s indulge in such shameless acts forcing us to conclude that the leaders of the country elected to protect the interests of the people are making a mockery of democracy. The BJP has opposed the deal for the sake of opposition ignoring India‘s energy concerns. Most of the country’s reactors work to less than 50% of their capacity. With India’s dwindling energy resources it is imperative that we clinch the deal with the US to cater to the energy needs of the future population.
