Tension in Sri Lanka

The war in Srilanka seems to have reached its peak. Today, the Srilankan government claimed that they have gotten hold of Kilinochi, considered to be the headquarters of the LTTE. This is a strong blow for the LTTE. The war between LTTE and the Srilankan government has been going on for a few months now. It has particularly intensified in the last few weeks. The army seemed to have the front foot. They were fast occupying on LTTE strongholds. Now that they have officially confirmed that the LTTE headquarters in under their control, there seems to be a tense situation in Srilanka. There is doubt whether the LTTE might surrender or if they gather all their power and come down strong on the Lankan army. We'll have to wait and see!
