India's first Golden Globe

The Golden Globes saw the movie, Slumdog Millionaire emerge as a clear winner. The movie is about a slum boy of India who faces the various atrocities of the nation and comes up in life. He is in search of his childhood sweetheart and whether he finds her or not is the story. They film pictures the sad plight of India. The nation to the foreigners pose a different image. But in reality it is an altogether different country. Well, the irony is that the sad state of the country has brought its first Golden Globe award. A 'golden' award for the 'poverty' of the country. A.R. Rahman was presented with the Golden Globe for the best music score for the movie. This movie has brough India to the attention of the world. But sadly, for not projecting India in a good way!
